OMG! IT'S REALLY HAPPENING: FILMS, CLIFFS, MAYHEM

Imagine, late summer evening, the sun setting over the cliffs after you take the Zip down to the grass by the lake shore. There's a hog roast, you've got popcorn in one hand and a drink in the other, and you're sat with mates waiting for the show to kick off. What film would you most like to see?

NEW RIDES FOR 2011
After a long sleep, a holiday and then another long sleep, Adrenalin Quarry is back. Last weekend saw us finally start on The Giant Swing, a project that’s been eight months in the making. We got hold of some really big toys and started to (very) carefully remove the top of the cliff.

NOW YOU SEE IT
First, we had to remove the grass, debris and brambles from the cliff surface.

With 2 metres of the overburden cut away, this newly flattened area is still more than 120 ft above the deep end of the quarry.

MEET 'MAD' MIKE DAVIES
He grew up literally over the road and drives the big rigs when we need them.

Mike brought the biggest rig he could find. This one weighs 22 tonnes. Here he is looking for something he dropped.

It only took Mike 4 hours to complete the job. With this view out of his cab window, we can understand why!

ON THE DOMESTIC FRONT
We're cracking on with our new luxury toilet block as well as everything else as we crank up for the Easter Holidays. The Zip has new cables and all new running gear (remember the last newsletter?) Jumping off cliffs never gets old. Coasteering is already going full swing with our next session on the lake this weekend. We’ve decided to add a new twist to the watersports here. When we get some good snaps, we'll show you what's in store.
